Reminds me of this (which ended in tragedy when the F-104 drifted into the Valkyrie)

The next stage is single-stage to orbit. That's the holy grail of strategic power projection.

The new Range Rover has grown on me. While I find the previous Big Body Range to be a more handsome vehicle, I must concede this vehicle is a wonderful piece of engineering in its own right.

The current Range Rover is perfect in every way except expense, in the sense that I cannot personally afford it. I was at the dealer today and there was a beautiful white one in the showroom with a $113k window sticker. Amazing vehicle. Can't wait for prices to come down.

Here's how that happens:

1: A bottom end failure occurs due to defective bearings, oil starvation or detonation which puts metal filings from the destroyed rod and/or main bearings everywhere through the oiling system.

2: Dealership replaces the short block but re-uses oil pump, oil pan, oil cooler and doesn't clean

Holy crap. I feel for this guy. I'm not familiar with Canadian product defect laws, but aside from the arbitration panel (you might want to change it from "arbitrary") what recourse does he have? Under Canadian law, can he sue Subaru?

"Always check the dipstick and top up the sand before you go anywhere," his dad used to say. But his memory was a little hazy.

...which — and let's be clear about this — is very rarely.

No one knows how to reduce fractions anymore?!?

The first step is to push your PT Cruiser even farther into the ditch, as illustrated, and then leave it there.

Start a signal fire to alert rescuers. This PT cruiser should suffice, and that wheelbarrow over there can carry lots of kindling.

Lets just be perfectly honest here. This should surprise no one.

That raft is brought along by the ferry pilot, who was solo. You don't normally carry rafts unless you are operating out of gliding distance of shore.

Isn't the USS Constitution also still in active service? Wikipedia says so.

I have no use for something like this. I need it.

You and me both. My grandfather used to fly a B55, so I'm partial to Baron's. The PT6A upgrade is a thing of beauty.
