I addition to what PaganPoet said, the working title for the show when they announced it was "AKA Jessica Jones." Presumably because they thought using "Alias" in the title would make people confuse it with Jennifer Garner's spy show (which happened a lot with the original comic).

When the episode started with two guys getting into a spontaneous Fury Road duel then flipping out at Kara when she stopped them from killing a bunch of kids, then Kara responded to a punch that couldn't possibly hurt her by breaking a guy's arm and Henshaw immediately started growling at her when she returned to

The removing the villains from the oven; the allowing the villains to cool; the frosting of the villains; and the villains serve six to eight.

That's quite interesting, that bit about the missing scenes. I wonder if the episode was originally intended to be 90 minutes to bookend the season premiere. I know episodes just run long sometimes, but that sounds like some substantive stuff that got lost.

They did say a couple of times that there would be a preview of the next half of the season during Into the Badlands. I think Hardwick calling it a "post-credits scene" on Talking Dead was a mistake. I'm pretty sure that was a scene from the next episode being used as a preview, not a part of this episode that they

While I don't think Maggie's legs were ever low enough for the zombies to bite while she was dangling, I hope we can declare a moratorium on "person tries to climb while zombies grasp at their legs" scenes. We've had, what, three in the past six episodes?

Generally you don't want to ram solid objects or initiate firefights when you're driving a tanker full of gasoline.

Until it became clear that the wall encasing the TARDIS was wearing down, I thought that the accumulation of skulls was going to be the one variable that eventually snapped him out of a "Groundhog Day" loop.

    In the 1940s through 1960s. I ain't that old.

I've always liked Patsy Walker so I never thought I'd get on board with a non-redhead, non-superheroine version of the character, but by the end of the series, she might be my favorite character on the show.

The sedative breaks his control over people. In other words, if he has people around himself whom he's ordered to protect him at all costs, they'll keep fighting on his behalf even if he's been knocked out by a punch, but not if he's been sedated by a sufficiently powerful drug.

I'm still betting that Henshaw is the Martian Manhunter.

    I saw it coming.

It is, however, necessary to see both movies to get the most out of my crossover fanfic "Victor I. Frankenstein."

It amazes me that Svengoolie is still doing his thing. My sister got his autograph at a Fourth of July parade back in the 80s (back when he was "Son of Svengoolie"). That guy's been dodging rubber chickens for over 30 years!

I suppose Obi-Wan Kenobi would say that Skye's dead "from a certain point of view" but Corey was speaking metaphorically. Skye - the orphan with a past so mysterious even she didn't know it - found out that her birth name was Daisy in the second season, and has started going by that name in the third season, and has

She does speak with an American accent (it wouldn't be impossible to justify her speaking with a non-American accent, but her backstory would have to include her family moving to America when she was fairly young and her growing up in the States without losing her accent, and they'd have to hire actors who have or can

I started watching the show primarily because the lead's got charisma for days, so it's nice to hear that holds up when she's not working from a script.

Thanks. I wonder what was going on with my cable.

The crazy man at a town hall sketch ended with them taking a vote, in which the crazy man was the only dissenting opinion. How is that "anti-democracy"? It would have been anti-democracy to NOT go ahead with the plan that only one person didn't want to go ahead with.
