Just wanted to say they I really appreciate this well written, thoughtful, and even handed article. This was the highest quality article AV Club 3.0 (or whatever version we’re on now post LA relocation) that I can remember reading. Blissfully minimal unearned snark or hot takes.

It’s complicated. I think we could get there but there needs to be some public reconciliation regarding these past inequalities first. In theory it could be worth discussing where you put limits on reconciliation, but in practice it would probably be better to focus on making some progress towards it first

Everyone deserves a trial

couldn’t agree more. Jon Snow is firmly established as an inspiring example of valor and nobility that is also a gallant idiot. That’s been a defining trait of his since pretty much day 1. He is truly Ned Stark’s son, regardless of his lineage.

Don’t sweat the haters, your recaps are the best part of watching this show.

I have enjoyed Soylent Green’s recaps for years. Definitely the best part of watching this show, and one of the few best running bits left on AVclub in the post-Kinjapocalypse era.
