I’m sure the company would like to hear that their driver did the right thing.

That’s called blending, not juicing.

For those not in the know, Ford specified special vanadium steel so the chassis iteslf is very flexible. This means the suspension has to do less work. If you ever get a chance, stop by the Piquette Plant in Detroit. They have a bare chassis you can flex by hand!

And you still had college money...it must be nice to be in the 1%

Still, just the coolness and variety is amazing.

Your family had a Bricklin and an Amphicar? You come from one hell of a bunch of mentals! I like it!

I think you and I could be good friends....

THE SV! It is absolutly gorgeous. Lamborghini is the reason I started loving cars. We need to get your sv in a shoot so we can finally have all the generation of manual v12's together

Like you I got into wrenching via the Maxima community, but it was my dad’s 1967 MGB roadster, similar in color (but not equipment) to the one below.

Same as many others here. Family had a lot of sweet cars. I’ve got deep childhood memories that come up at the smell of old leather, the smell of gasoline evaporating out of a carburetor in a garage, and the distinct exhaust of old British cars.

Definitely my dad. He was a diesel mechanic, and was always a big car nerd. One of his proudest accomplishments, was that at the tender age of 4, he had taught me how to identify basically every car on the road by the taillights.

I imagine a lot of commenters will respond with; My dad. Well, or their dad, or a dad, or something.

My dad (and grampa) had some awesome cars when I was growing up. So just like a politician, follow in daddy’s shoes!

Not a production car.

Looks to be about as clean-burning as a VW too.

HEYYY!!! I’m walking here!

THIS. If Musk is a shyster stealing government money like his detractors like to claim, THEN WE NEED MORE SHYSTERS LIKE HIM STEALING GOVERNMENT MONEY. All he’s done with the money is build an electric car people actually want to own, spurring other car companies to get off their asses to start building their own. Oh,
