Piranha are actually quite timid fish that feed by sneaking up on another fish, taking a bite out of a fin, and swimming away quickly.

That sounds kind of neat... if you want your ice flavored like blueberries for an unknown length of time

I would be careful with the baking soda. Vinegar is going to break down fairly quickly, but baking soda is a salt & fairly stable and the sodium will remain in the soil for a very long time. It might be the thing to use where you want to prevent any growth for a very long time, but not where you will want to plant

I have Attention Deficit (not so) Hyperactive Disorder - which is a misnomer, since it’s not a deficit of attention, it’s a deficit of CONTROL of attention, as well as a deficit of control over several other executive functions.
Whatever it is in your brain that allows you to just “set your mind to doing something”

This has always been my go-to wine opener, but my husband prefers the corkscrew, so I let him do the wine opening. We did get a brand of wine that had done something to their corks that made this not work as well (IIRC, the corks were not staying in place when you shimmied the opener down), which is when we switched

When my husband goes to work early, he often forgets where that he has put his coffee, and I come home to a nearly full cup of cold coffee. I knew there was something good to do with that coffee.

So, I must be boring, since I kept my last Mitsubishi Mirage for 19 years. I probably would have gotten some more time out of it,  but the odometer failed at about year 16, and I didn’t realize it needed a new timing belt.

I would think cinnamon to be a better option - it’s not going to acquire a layer of dirt (or have the dog decide it’s food).
I’ve done it, and it works perfectly. It stopped the ant conga line to the food tray at the doorway where I put the line of cinnamon YEARS ago & I’ve never seen an ant since.

Chocolate can bloom from being stored where it gets too hot - “too hot” for chocolate is somewhere in the mid-80s.

Microwave - you already have one, and it works just as well as the one I had before my husband convinced me to use the microwave.

It sounds like google home might be getting near to being the kind of alarm clock I need - one that can recognize if I’m still in bed/back in bed and keep going off until I get up.

Better but I really should pull both of them into a gif editor & slow them down some more.

I wish that was slower, it’s hard to really comprehend the effect when it’s switching back and forth so fast.

Another thing to consider when taking portraits. If the camera is slightly below the eye level of the subject, the subject will appear bulkier - not a good look for most people. The 70's TV version of “The Hulk” shot Lou Ferrigno this way to make him look even more muscular and massive.
Shoot from above the person and

Mom worked in reservations for AA for many years. Back in the 60s, there was a promotion allowing businessmen to bring their wives for free on business trips.   Quite a few businessmen tried to bring their secretaries on this plan. Mom helpfully pointed out that under Texas Law (and AA was a Texas-based company), they

My husband and I just did a local overnighter staycation - spent the night in a nice hotel downtown, ate at one of the wonderful restaurants there for supper and breakfast, then went to a museum the next day.

I like my oatmeal scottish style (cooked until you can’t tell the individual oats anymore)
Two more things I’ve found necessary for my preferred style - some butter, and a bowl that is wider at the top than the bottom.

Color changing flowers discussion point - you may have different colors absorb at different rates, discuss what might cause this (I believe this might be because of different molecular sizes for the different dyes, but I haven’t researched it)

Bonus addition to the color changing flowers - slice the stems in half (as
