I think it is fine. These dealerships just waste people’s time and energy and it gets annoying after a while. It’s just like all of the “manual” cars out there that are really automatic. Just annoying and after a while you get sick of it. BMW dealers in particular seem to be particularly arrogant.

By definition, the dealer’s actions mark him as a shady dealer, any franchise not withstanding.

It would be very helpful to publish the dealership’s name, and the name of the salesperson you were communicating with.

Witholding this onformation only makes it easier for them to screw someone else.
