It’s absolutely wild. $85 million is literally more than every Friday the 13th budget COMBINED. The movies don’t even do particularly well they just do well relative to their budgets. Freddy Vs. Jason is the highest budgeted Jason appearance and is the only movie in which he appears that made $100 million globally.…

Normally I’d go to bat for creators over producers, but Fuller going wildly over-budget and claiming creative differences before leaving or being fired from a show is about as predictable as the sun rising in the east at this point.

Generally disagree. Good writing is good writing, and they’re suffering from bad and lazy writing, both in concept and execution. There’s no apples to apples comparison because the new ones are simply not conceptualized or executed as well.
