I’ve been going to anime conventions for as long as I can remember. I’m 30 now, but the feeling I get at a convention is really no different than say when I was 20. For financial reasons, the number of conventions I travel to has dwindled; but my excitement for them is still rather high. For me, it’s a weekend away

You see this a lot with fandoms all over the place — especially in anime circles. People project the character onto the voice actor and it’s so worrisome that people can’t separate the person who provide a voice from a fictional character. On the creepy side you get people who project their fictional waifu/husbando

That Sombra actually is Carolina Ravassa who voices Sombra in-game. I knew she looked super familiar and the twitter handle @ravassa indicates as much. I was there and had no idea that happened. Girlfriend and I met her the next day in a much more dressed down setting. Absolutely terrific person and nice as can be to

Gritty is the only thing I like about Philadelphia.

It’s a cool project and the end result is pretty impressive.

I know that SUVs/Crossovers are hot fire these days, but I don’t think this is what they intended.

Also think of some 35 yo driving this to his job, Whores Wanted sticker in full display.

Jersey.

Eyes kept on K/DA Ahri. Was a laundromat nearby the con?

This is not the kind of “nasty stuff” that scouts praised him for.

It’s a Datsun with velvet

I’m on a B- level mobile carrier that likes to reuse numbers. A lot. The previous owner of my phone, a lady named “Avery,” seems to have had her share of “admirers”. I’d get calls from people I don’t know and let it go to voicemail where I — a dude — state my name and say I can’t come to the phone at the moment. Still

The game is definitely better played with people than by yourself. One of the things I enjoy most about Fallout is the discovery of new places, so my group has done mostly that. We’ll take breaks from roaming to do some daily missions or story quests from time to time, but we mostly just wander and find shit. To that

My dad, my aunts and uncles on my dad’s side, and my grandma all teamed up to get my 7 year old niece a Switch. Her reaction opening it was priceless.

Was there and what a huge difference from year 1 to year 2. The exhibit hall was much bigger and it felt a lot more crowded. The convention has such high potential for growth and that’s exciting.

I’m into blue-haired Ashe. Just saying’.

this is still a thing?

My girlfriend’s step mom used to get her and her sister cotton bikini style underwear every year for Christmas. The kind you’d get in their 5/$25 bins with the catchy sayings and playful patterns. She still has a few pairs left she likes to wear to work and finds them comfortable — but they are in rough shape. Like

NJ resident here. I have no idea what gas station wine is, nor do I believe you can even buy wine at a gas station.

An ‘83 Cutlass Supreme was the first car I ever bought. I paid $500 in 2007. It was an old lady’s grocery getter and only had 29,000 miles on it. The car was clean, well taken care of, and was the most comfortable car I’ve ever been in. It drove rather inoffensively as well. That said, $500 was a perfect amount to pay
