N: I think the fact that these recalls are limited to older models that are no longer in productions helps matters. The Cobalt/G5/Ion/Sky/Solstice/whatever recall does not impact their current lineup much aside from buyer perception. In fact, GM is doing another great PR step to get all of their recalls done now

James Bond.

I like the steely look, but my steelies look downright awful. The OEM plastic wheel covers are such shit they scratch and chip at the most innocuous things. I had to replace them. Of course, the exact part is no longer made, but I went with a matte black wheel cover that isn't so "spray painted silver" colored. I

I've been looking for a new one anyway, I just haven't found anything that fit. I also haven't been 100% committed yet. If anything this is making me want to expedite things.

You would think, right? I think that number may be inflated just a tad to sensationalize the scandal and to ultimately kick GM while its down. Nonetheless, it should be handled swiftly and accordingly whether it is 13 or 303.

N: It's getting to the point now where these types of cars will have a certain stigma attached to them. It's so frustrating that I'm looking to get rid of mine, recall or not, maybe as early as this weekend. The resale value of these cars is going to plummet hugely and it might be time to unload it ASAP while I can.

Here's a question to the fellow Jalops who may drive a Cobalt/G5. Have you received recall notices yet? I keep reading about it, but have no idea when the recall goes live. I'm right on the cusp owning a 2007 and so far I have heard absolutely nothing.

4th Gear: As a driver of a 2007 Cobalt, I'm on the fringe of the recall. I have to think though, if this were an issue since the car was built I would've had it already. Ever since I got the car, I've daily driven on the bumpiest, worst quality roads (i.e. NJ Route 18 Reconstruction) and this winter has been a bumpy

It's a shame Nintendo is killing the Nintendo DS Wireless.

Being the second player on the kart, and side attacking and stealing opponents power-ups is such a rewarding feeling.

My grandfather had a brown 1979 GMC van that he used for hunting and fishing in his younger years with my dad, uncle, and great grandpa. After his kids had kids, the sporting slowed down and it eventually just sat in the driveway. It was used as a spare car in the family from time to time. When I was younger, I

Getting pulled over in any capacity. While you sit there on the shoulder with Mr. Angry officer, everyone else driving by is just looking at you. Judging you.

Driving your Cobalt on bumpy roads with your keys being too heavy.

3rd: I'd consider buying a Chinese car, probably in about 20 years. If anything, the rise in Korean cars in the past few years has taught me that in time, anyone can build a quality car. KIA was a joke years ago and now they make visually appealing cars with far increased build quality than their inception. I'd say

I loved the hell out of #5.

Truth be told, I had no idea what a Buick Excelle was and googled images it. Came across this and I liked the way it looked. It looks like a simple wagon, which is what we don't get too much of in the states.

Now that you mention it, yeah it did look a little familiar. I like it with the Buick logo better. :)

Quick glance, thought this was a Firebird on a van.

Buick Excelle Wagon. I like it.

The rise in pick-up truck tailgates is pretty shitty. It's one thing to have your entire car stolen because it can be claimed and reported. However, when people just steal a vital piece of a pick-up truck's bodywork, it leaves owners having to pay out of pocket for a replacement since more than likely insurance
