Don't underestimate apples cockiness. They know consumers are willing to buy their product even when it has "less" then steller specs. I for one will probably never buy a laptop that isn't apple even though I hate that I can't use a bluray player on my lappy. We will see though on March 2nd

A lot of people are expecting apple to come out w/ New Ipads with much higher specs equivalent to the Xoom and touchpad. Above that people are expecting them to do it with a 500 dollar price tag..

These are very nice features. I used to use dashboard all the time and now I use spaces all the time. i'm not nesessarily sure I will like the new feature of combining the two.. but we will see.

clearly photoshopped. Just look @ the icons, its clear their resolution isn't nearly as high as the background image. Almost like they were trimmed out saved in photoshop and then placed in.

u know, I don't understand GIz's hate for these products being 700 or even 800 bucks. You are comparing them to the 600 dollar IPAD that has no cameras way less ram and just not nearly as fast. If you compare them to the Higher End IPADs the results are still the same.

yep, this is freaking absurd! I know Gizmodo is trying to move to this new system, but I click on the article in 3 different ways: Image - just pops the image up, click more- brings me to this, click the article name, brings me to this... So I go look for a search option.. Can't find one.
