Why the fuck is groomed in scare quotes? That is pretty fucked up, no matter the gender of the author. If the author cannot grasp that a 32 year old man is grooming a vulnerable 11 year old to sex work, having raped her at 13, then no, they shouldn't really be writing about assault.

I live in Dublin too, and mostly notice catcalling or street harassment while walking in town. I do most of my commuting by green line LUAS, and yeah, mostly people don't even make eye contact.
