Where I live in the US, diesel is cheaper than gas. And when it is more expensive, it's only by like 5-10¢. Which the fuel economy evens out. Plus torque.

Oh I agree. But realistically it’s not the easiest system. And for me, if the power went out, my ip company is fiber with a power backup (it’s local, which is great) so I won’t be without internet. And even then, with your system, even if the internet went out like you said, I couldn’t look at my house away from home…
