You must live in a large city. I love my 08 manual Colorado, but there's no way in hell I'd drive it into Chicago. Around where I live though, I can put it into 5th on town and leave it there for awhile. Not much more work than an auto. (Though the 2.9 I4 is pretty gutless. But that's why I got other toys XD)

Thats strange. The wife has a 17 limited (one down from trailhawk) and a 400 mile trip was done on one tank. And that's to Chicago, driving around town, and back home. On average we got 26-28 mpg. There had to have been something wrong with the vehicle, because that meant you were getting 11ish mpg. All in all, we

Welcome through our neck of the woods!

    2.89 currently here

Buying my truck last year, I didn’t require insurance either. But that’s what you get. Chicago is too busy being Chicago and not caring, south is too busy hating Chicago and not caring, and ‘forgottonia’ is really just the alabama of Illinois. More redneck pickups than you can shake a stick at. And they don't care.

We actually just bought a Jeep renegade that has push button start. At first it’s weird and I didn’t know why, but as soon as you have to run out in blistering cold or rain and you don’t have time to fumble with your keys, it makes sense. Just walk up, open the now unlocked door, and push the button. Only thing a key

Shoot. I love my fwd Chevy Cobalt as much as I love every red car I've driven. Cheap car, you can thrash it without worrying and alot of fun

Oh I’m not saying that a large city is all bad. I just don’t understand people who say that if you don’t live in NYC, or Chicago, or whatever, then you are an idiot. Or trash. I love visiting Chicago. I’ll spend a whole weekend there. But I enjoy the lonelyness of small towns. I grew up in a town of 30,000 (which is

Living in a town of 15,000. Getting ready to move to a town of 1,000. Been to cities 1 mil+ Fuck large cities. Love to visit, but I like going outside, seeing stars, knowing everyone, and only having to drive 15-20 minutes to get anywhere. And next door is a city of 120,000. We get plenty of people visiting, and

Love my 08 Colorado. Two door, 5 on the floor, long bed. Great truck. Still only has 72000. Arizona truck so no rust(though that'll change. Love living in the salt belt...)

    Thats gorgeous

Still one of the best looking foci made

And the only reason I would buy a Mitsubishi 3-4 years ago save for the lancer evo. Once they closed I won't buy one. (I live 20minutes from the factory)

When people from the state of Illinois regularly call it the state of misery, you know you have a problem XD

Actually, in alot of municipalities they have the requirement to replace them. A good friend here in Peoria, Il bought an old house, found the pipes were lead, and the city came and replaced them free of charge. Unfortunately she has to replace her drive, but that was needed anyway

The issue with Chicago, is the whole police force is so corrupt that if your a white male, just a little bribe will get you off of most things. Plus I only ever see the police either downtown, greektown(and similar), or the Southside. I've been told I have two completely driving styles hometown(central Illinois) and

    Good news!

I don’t know about other states, but illinois state law mandates flashing to pass on two lane highways and certain other highways. Unfortunately it’s Illinois and while most people can drive better than other states that I’ve been to, they all think they are better than you and get utterly pissed when you flash your

Except it was Karl Benz and Gottlieb Daimler and named after Emil Jellinek’s daughter Mercedes. Unless this is one of those Joke over head things, then nevermind XD

I don’t know. Im Torred whether I like it or not
