Huh, you know. I never realized all matches weren't of the strike anywhere variety. Growing up as a child we always had the strike anywhere matches in the house. As an adult, I just have lighters on hand as opposed to matches. This explains why I could never get free matches to light on cement.

I went there. They were totally nice and courteous. No joke. I went there with another foreigner and I think they were a bit intimidated.

I never understood how that 99 cent thing tricked people. I always just round up.

More important than root, I think being able to flash custom ROMs. A lot of manufacturer roms comes with a lot of things you don't need. While you can remove them after gaining root access, I feel it would be better to start with a strong ROM.

I think Japan takes their ceremonies way too seriously. During sports festivals in elementary to highschool the students generally gather in the field and stand at attention for close to 20 minutes. This isn't my college, but if it were I would be raising some hell.
