Your willingness to admit that you had a shitty education and there are things you don’t know as a result of that experience speaks well of your character. And that is much more important.
The common measurement uses the short ton. There would be many more accidents if someone decided to use a measurement that wasn’t customary.
Well, this gets to the real heart of the matter. You don’t know how many pounds in a ton? You should know, but good for you for admitting that you don’t. So, knowing that you don’t know and you’re driving that truck, do you go over the bridge? Therein lies the real stupidity.
