(FORGIVE ME IF SOMEONE ELSE TALKED ABOUT THIS DEEPER IN THE COMMENTS THREADS…)

Bob Johnson!  Oh, wait…

It's the same textbook they use in Texas…except that they've added a halo over the baby's head.

As legal council for Mr. Ellison, it is herewith demanded that the above-signed contributor cease and desist any further reference to the Harlan Ellison short story "Lord Camrade Obscura."  Failure to do so immediately will result in swift litigation.

Sir, I resent your occupation of the word "its," flying your apostrophic flag over a land that will never be possessed, as it has no possessive form!  (Besides, it was our word first!)

No! —If he was Burl, he'd! end! every! sentence! like! this!!!!

RE:  Transsiberian:  I quite enjoyed it:  both loosely constructed yet ultimately taut, an unusual script, terrific performances, moments that are harrowing and brutal, well shot, well directed, and lots of "naturalism" that not only provides character development…but also serves nicely as misdirection in the mystery

Teasing bastard.  How can you carnival-bark this fun-sounding hash and not have even one clip?  Sooooooo…here's the link to the entire movie, on YouTube:

A two line witticism wherein the first contained a misspelling and the second sloppy grammatical errors.  Brevity is the soul of wit, but not when it springs from a brevity of insight.  The Fantastic Mr. Fox, is:  Now THAT'S a succinct (and accurate) review.

Anything that starts with a "Wheel of Fortune" must be a game, right?

Don't feel too bad for Waylon Smithers.  Since the "accident," he's been more popular than ever at the Bars (as, now, he can brag he's got a foot-and-a-half).

Frankly, the entire idea of "human batteries" is pathetic; the human body takes a huge amount of energy just to keep ITSELF running…with very little surplus; barely enough to power a GPS and a radio —let alone building-sized flying squidrills.  Then again, I've never thought the W. siblings knew all that much about

I guess the half-serious joke I was hoping would be 6th Sensed is this:  What if Ben was killed when he was shot, and because he works "at home" he'll be oblivious to this fact —a la Willis' dead kiddy-shrink.  What a TWEEEEEST!

Of course it's recognized, Evan.

Hi.  The real problem, though, is that whereas vinyl records STILL remain fairly cheap and easy to produce (for small music pressing companies, often using old manufacturing equipment), and video cassettes, audio cassettes, and Betamax can be continually reused even though they are no longer being made, film stock

"No, it was a through and through. I'm fine."

Logoboros: Have you ever read Borges' short story "Pierre Menard, Author of the Quixote"?  It's about a writer who sets out to write Don Quixote, identical word for word with Cervantes' original text…and how (among other considerations), because it would be be utterly re-contextualized as it came from another author

Evan Waters:  This is for you:
