I didn’t time it but it felt just unbelievably long for a sketch.

IIRC ‘Jamie Farr’ in 1990 was still an easy punchline for ‘washed-up but amiable celebrity’. Crystal Gayle was an odd choice, and it’s telling that the sketch made fun at the one thing people then remembered her for: her absurdly long hair. I vaguely recall Asimov having a bit of a moment then, possibly some

I’ll admit I laughed way too much at myself for understanding the Jamie Farr and Sally Struthers jokes.

I wish Phil Hartman got to do more as his weird, stoic author.

Certainly not an ideal show, but I definitely appreciated the effort and that they went through with it. Like the SNL at Home episodes, it was comforting in these weird times to have the show on in any form. I hope everybody in studio was safe.

Man, just saw the film and it is at the top of the list of my favorite Marvel movies. Spiderman In To the Spider-verse is still my favorite Spiderman movie, but this is close to it. So for selfish reasons really glad to see that it is doing so well in the box office.

What if this wasn’t a slideshow though? Just like a regular article, to provide your readers a better experience?

From Dune, the rainy midnight visit of the Bene Gesserit and the tense what’s in-the-box test sequence has to be up there among the most memorable scenes I saw this year. Just an incredible combination of score, imagery, and sinister ambience.

A Brand New Dinette Set! This lovely country-style dinette set seats four and comes with an real washed maple veneer top from Crate and Barrel! Also included, this Lemonade Pitcher set with 6 16oz glasses by Anchor Hocking, along with this stylish serving tray! Back to you, Drew!

best thing about this show is i don’t really care about predicting what happens, i only care about how it happens when it happens and who it happens to.

I don’t know how to choose between Culkin, Snook and Strong. They are all truly phenomenal, who don’t need a single line for them to transmit whatever they are feeling onto the viewer simply with their expressions and body language. The pain feels so real.

That toast didn’t decide anything.

Kendall’s confession broke me. Afterwards when Shiv asked him where he wanted to wait and he said “Can I be with you guys?” Reader, I wept. My god. The way this show mines genuine humanity from such utterly irredeemable characters is like nothing I’ve ever seen.

No one will doubt how, well, strong—Strong is in his painful moments and also against other family members (Cox and him together are most electric) but broody scene after broody scene doesn’t perk up my energy. Matthew Macfadyen on the other hand, to me, is dizzying in the ability to switch gears from high to low,

I think a better ad would have been the original Peloton lady, now incredibly buff, watching the episode while she cycles. She sees Mr Big die, mutters “Pussy”, and keeps on riding.

I really like Ready Player One, but I agree that it is his most excessive film.

Tintin is an underrated classic.

Ah, ok. Some of these folks seem to think it’s about plastic surgery.

“I still know Kung Fu.”

Ever see the trailer for the two Matrix sequels? They looked pretty cool.
