I am not sure futuristic always translates to dystopian. With the angles chosen, one doesn’t see the remarkable landscaping and gardens that center much of the museum, the water is certainly visually cleansing and serene, the organic shapes. It’s also has such stunning elegant lines. I think it establishes the gleam…
I am liking the story well enough, but I did enjoy the Russian nesting doll plot lines in the first two seasons. That said good to shake up the storylines and how to approach them.

Telegram yes. Prefixes with phone numbers like Diamond or Capitol, yes. Televisions with click remotes that also changed channels when playing with a slinky because the sound was the same, yes. Captain Kangaroo, yes. Actual Ice box........a bit before my time, but a Kelvinator I have your back.

It seems a lot of people here didn’t watch The Deuce. It is fantastic television and as a few have mentioned here, Gyllenhaal was phenomenal, but so was the whole cast including two performances by James Franco.

While not one of the campy 50s Sci-Fi posters of the era, it does sell the 3-D, features, has the requisite illustrations of the lead cast looking up to the skies in terror and definitely screams 1950s movie art. You can purchase an original in very fine condition for about $900.
After seeing this film in a theater, I felt like I was on a campaign for years telling people to see it. I thought it was unbelievably effective and scary and a remarkable achievement mounted on a modest budget.
The dye job to the front of his hair, like that of a rooster’s ass and tail feathers, well bravo to hair and makeup because that was hilarious.
References to Futureworld, GOT, Jurassic Park......clever by too much? Nah!
