I like this way of thinking, I have the added complication of living in Canada. I have shopped for items and have found things that are less than $40 in the US with free shipping, then after shipping come to $120 CDN and I have to think twice. I then try to find the same item from a Canadian source and the best I can

MazdaSpeed 3, MazdaSpeed 6

I went to the low end of the Bike spectrum, and it didn’t look good.
A Honda Grom with a smaller motor than the mower mentioned in the article has a MSRP of $3200 and 9.7 HP which has a terrible $/HP of $330 Yikes!
There has to be a motorcycle sweet spot.

In Canada you can import a 15 year old car, where it is not 25 years like in the states, it is not 10 either.

I know my 1978 BRAT did have factory belts in the back, at least here in Canada.

My apologises for not knowing the correct terminology, what I meant to say was a electronic ducted fan as used in R/C aircraft, not the fuel burning jet engines also used in R/C aircraft.

I still have a soft spot in my heart for these, this is the car I was Jonesing over in high school. Then once married my wife bought a crappie used ‘78, had to use a screwdriver bit as a fuse just to keep it running.

I think because it has factory seat belts it get’s the exemption. But every jurisdiction is different.

I have had the concept of placing a R/C jet engine into the intake, I figure if they can provide 50+ lbs of thrust, that it a lot of air heading towards the cylinders.
Then I saw these e-bay electric turbos, and their reviews and figured that is what they were doing. With all the bad reviews I figured that my idea was

It is a rally thing, it is supposed to give more head room for helmets, and fresh air for the driver and co-driver, or as I like to say foot and brain.

‘76-’79 Honda Civic, Honda’s with a hatch, and the car that made them a household name in North America.
Now I can’t stand Hondas, they have no more soul.

And personally a ‘78 Subaru Brat would be where I would go with this.

I took my driving lessons in one just like this, and I do recall how it what the “New Hope”.
We have gotten so much better since then.

Now playing

For me I remember her for the cat fight with Terri Hatcher 21 years ago.

I had a ‘78 Subaru BRAT with such electrical issues, that the only was to get it to run was to put a removable screwdriver bit between two different fuse holders. You had to remember to take it out when you reached your destination.
Like you said good luck figuring that one out.

My grandma had one, and I’m old.

Sitting in a winter landscape with snow all around, my eyes noticed the cars first and the villas on the hill second. I would love to work near there just for that view, but there are others out there who would envy my view of the mountains.

If they had a hatchback version of this, I would be all over this. But I don’t like trunks for my junk.

Had something like this for me Wesstfalia:

I wonder now if the electric bike company http://www.zeromotorcycles.com/ca/ has an agreement with Pirelli to use zero?
Or perhaps that company has some ties to Farady.

With Resto movement (Beetle, Mini, Fiat Spyder etc.) as strong as it is I have wanted Honda to create a classic Civic, even a hot hatch version. For me this car company has strayed from what it was, I don’t even recognise the Civics of today.
Perhaps they could have marketed the Fit this way.
