I respect Glickenhaus, but those CAD drawings also look like they’re from the 90s

It looks like a car from the 90s ...

The real question is why isn’t a V8 mazda 3 a thing?

As a driver, most of this stuff (Ivans, tailgating, phones, camping) is true 100% of the time. I’m not sure why it’s framed as a motorcycle-specific issue. That said, I’d like to take issue with two points...

And according to my local Craigslist, you can have one in the U.S. for under $10,000.

The other thing was that I knew I had just heard this engine mentioned and I wasn’t crazy:

The Soul is a good car!

For what it’s worth I nearly bought a Genesis Coupe years ago, when they were brand new. So I’m pretty familiar with Hyundai/Kia’s strain of “almost, but not quite” sporting dynamics. Hopefully the Stinger gets it right.

Is it too serious for it’s own good, or is there at least a little bit of whimsy baked in? My only Kia experience is buying a Soul for my MIL this summer, and I loved them so much they’re on my radar for our next family-mobile. Even with an all-black interior that is a very happy car. Might even say it’s got “soul”.

From CFO to GTFO.

Great write up, Andrew. I like the car, but the way you put it really encapsulated how i feel about big boy toys like motorcycles and cars.

The Lotus Exige Cup 430 is another fantablous-looking car with a jaw-dropping spec sheet and just enough creature

This is basically where I am at. It’s his writers that needed to get the boot, not him!

Here is a very nice FD Mazda RX-7, for no good reason at all. Enjoy.

Are you kidding? This is brilliant! Do you have any idea what it costs to install a hydraulic handbrake to do the same thing? And this cones with the added programming to disengage the rear so you don’t need to clutch. And it’s removable. This is some next level shit.
