What’s the upside to the expensive wall that warrants the many, many downsides?

That “one-pedal” driving experience is a lot cooler than people who haven’t experienced it will ever understand. I spent several years driving hybrid, diesel-electric transit buses. The giant 40-foot (and 60-foot articulated) ones, and they drove the same way. The regenerative braking was VERY aggressive, and you

It’s like this isn’t even a car site anymore.....pickup trucks and minivans? Best we could do here? Come on.....Let’s give him a jalopnik special - the volvo wagon! Only more like volvo SUV for dog purposes.

When I read about this a few months ago (before the bumbling teenager in the video above failed to explain anything, like he always does) I pondered (probably on YouTube) why they weren’t using piezoelectric actuators. Surely that’d be reliabler than a rats’ nest of critical vacuum lines?

I was shocked at how sharp the projected image is on the new Genesis G80:

Insane, no matter where you stand. This is a major deal and should have been the top story, period. It’s as if the COLE attackers had been stopped by an alert sentry but nobody noticed.
