I'm a firm believer that those who are in charge of enforcing the law, rather than getting free rides when they break those laws, should be subject to twice the penalty that normally applies to those crimes.  

Yeah no loss to me that the game is canceled but it put my eyes on the base lore and it was a fun little rabbit hole to go down for an hour. Came to the conclusion it’s basically Made in Abyss but with more 20th century corporate america.

My guess is either the KS cash didn’t rack up as fast as he hoped, or he realized turning this into a viable game worth playing was going to take more money, time, and effort than he was willing to invest.

sounds like its for the best.  i’ve tried to work with auteurs like this dude.  it’s a nightmare for everyone.  they can’t give up even the slightest amount of control, make any sort of compromise, and have to have a direct hand in everything even if they have no idea what it means, how to do it, or what it entails. …

I definitely think he made the right call here, so kudos to him for that, and his work on the whole mystery flesh pit thing is really neat, but he seems like a bit of a control freak...

Why is it that Fiat, a company that probably makes no money in the US, can bring low-volume cars to the US but Honda can’t bring the E. Or BMW the 3-series wagon. Both of which would outsell the 500e.
