I’ve been saying this for years, gearheads begged for station wagons and hatchbacks and now they’re everywhere, but they’re not good enough because they’re too heavy, they’re too tall, they’re too comfortable (all things that people who actually buy new cars want).

Gluing a popclip holder to the dash/center trim. Cheap as hell, any phone I get will fit, any car I buy has a phone mount, it doesn’t wiggle, I never have to worry about android auto, and I don’t lose a vent or cup holder.
