I think you’re misreading my comment. I’m saying that they hyped up this big release like it was supposed to be Destiny 2.0 and in parentheses (we fixed all the fuck ups!) but really it was the same thing that launched the year before with a new location, and we were all just enamored with the “ooooooo new and shiny!”

There was less content than the original Destiny launch. Basically the same run and gun missions again just on the Dreadnought.

I think the reasons for making it are stupid, and it’s totally made for the controversy, but it doesn’t look awful in both concept and in the graphics department.

In retrospect, no it really didn’t. It was original Destiny launch part 2, a la we had the wool pulled over our eyes again for essentially the same complaints we had first time around, lack of starting content and subsequent drops of content going forward.
