It’s easy to laugh at them, but how many of us had as much fun as they did last weekend?

I’m always happy for these idiot goofballs. Juggalos are okay. They seem to do more good than bad, and they just want to have their own weekend to do the shit they like to do. Good for them. 

Ninja Theory, CD Project Red and other developers would like to disagree. They dont seem to be having trouble making money by delivering games without micro-transactions.

Or games lower their dev cost. Scale back on some features.  Don't make those bleeding edge graphics.  

I fully support the message about harassment ... the microtransaction apologism, not so much. After 10 years of increasingly predatory monetization the “you don’t understand the videogame industry”and “it’s just cosmetics” excuses are hollow.

In response to a lawsuit by metal band Iron Maiden, retro shooter Ion Maiden is now Ion Fury. Publisher 1C entertainment cited the lawsuit as the reason for the change in a press release, also announcing that the game would launch out of PC early access on August 15, with Switch, PS4 and Xbox One versions coming…

Fuck Panic. They failed to perform due diligence when selecting a name for their handheld and then got pissy when someone else was using a very common term for something else. Also, Playdate is a shitty name for a handheld console. It’s a far better name for an indie game con.

Is it really a "pirated" version though? I just dump my own copy of BOTW and still support the developers. I like having the extra features you can get with an emulator

The neat thing about this is it’s the opposite of black magic - it’s extremely easy to do and pretty straightforward. The hard part is just getting the idea.
