The show was so much better when it was humans versus zombies. When the group was nomadic and didn't know where tomorrow's bed or meal would come from - that was compelling and worth watching. Building up to a climax should have taken 4 episodes in a properly written series. Instead we get a whole season of crap, about 10 minutes of gathering weapons, and God knows how much the next steps will be dragged out.

It's stunning that as time passes the writers make Negan the more sympathetic character. He takes care of his people really well as long as they follow the rules.
