Yep. Van nation!
Yep. Van nation!
Fusion is the one I’m still irritated about. 112k? Still dead.
You’ll find them all on YouTube.
Adam Sandoval, Bike N’ Bird, John Maxwell, etc.
There’s plenty of young guys on Harleys.
As someone else mentioned, though, a lot of young guys are on used bikes. I’ve bought two and I’m 35.
But I guess at least we buy the t-shirts?
Ohman!
Also, this is a brand new engine for GM, isn’t it?
The Ramn has had time to work out any kinks. (I don’t know that they HAVE worked them out, just that they’ve had time to, lol.)
This New GM for you. Gutless.
Car sales have been slipping since about 2016. The general consensus has typically been that since the industry saw growth from 2009 to 2015, things would naturally start to level out and slide. Articles have been talking about “peak car” for a while now.
I’d argue that their trucks are 3-5 years behind as well.
Aluminum bodies, turbos, e-torque, diesels. All the other manufacturers have been experimenting with all kinds of new tech that’s paid off to varying degrees.
GM is only JUST now getting into the diesel game and their turbo 4cyl is a joke.
They keep doubling down…
I’ve never understood how CFA even became a thing. Their chicken is bland.
Of COURSE Popeye’s sandwich is better.
I think you’re absolutely wrong on this.
I was excited to see the movie and waited in a long line to see it. I thought it was boring trash and everyone I knew at school who saw it agreed. We had ONE guy who was a huge SW fan that defended it and saw it 8 times and kept putting his ticket stubs on the bulletin board in…
You were SINGLE? I don't believe it!
He’s gonna... he’s gonna... HE’S GONNA PUKE!
I’ve been researching the AFM failures in the 2014-2018 trucks. I had assumed the AFM failures were a thing of the past (2007-2013, specifically) but my buddy’s 2015 just got diagnosed with a collapsed AFM lifter this week at 70k miles.
I was DIE HARD GM up until 2007 or so.
I can no longer even consider them.
Only 15ftlbs more torque than the outgoing 6.8 V10, but 70hp more.
It’s not bad. The old V10s were/are pretty well liked by a certain niche of F250/350 guys in a way the 6.2 never was. I think this will fill that gap nicely.
Also, the big story here is that Ford - who’s gone with OHC/DOHC, direct injection and turbos…
They went from leader to follower? How?
As far as power goes, their engines lead the class. Mileage IS iffy, but they’re also not horrible. And they were the first to make all aluminum bodied trucks.
Ford is a lot of things, but they’ve rarely been followers - at least not in the truck segment. They went to overhead…
Sounds like my Electra Glide. Nice as long as you’re moving along at a good pace.
Slow down and try to do any parking lot maneuvers and it suddenly sucks.
I got used to mine after a while and didn’t feel scared on it, but even just looking at some of these pictures (like the one where you’re parked on a hill) made me…
I had this same problem with my Wii U. Nintendo wanted $50 or something stupid to fix it. I kept saying I’d just do it myself and they eventually said, “Okay, fine. We’ll send you a shipping label and fix it for free.”
Right. Whether it’s GM’s cylinder deactivation eating valvetrains or Ford’s 5.4 shooting plugs (2V) or breaking plugs (3V) or any of the other timing issues those had, my love of cars has sadly become a love-hate relationship.
But you’re right. It’s a mentality that has slipped into other industries. The video…
That postal jeep is worse.
The article admits it was a troll from 4Chan to make the media go nuts and look stupid.
Media finds out about it and goes nuts anyway.
