They’re absurdly simple to work on, and once they’ve received some basic maintenance (testing some electrical connections, replacing a couple of sensors, verifying proper AFM function, replacing worn suspension components, distributor cap and rotor replacement, etc.), many are quite reliable.
Same here almost. It left me stranded once in nearly six years of ownership. That was in year one and was during a shakedown when it wasn’t even totally mechanically sound yet. Since then it’s been a very impressive little car.
