Well, I think the sellers of this truck saw me post about the tailgate, because they pointed out on instagram that the parts truck they just bought has a rust-free tailgate. (So apparently not all the things fall to pieces!)
I actually just used a stock 3.9 cam because this is a budget build to the greatest extent possible. Had I swapped an aftermarket design in, I’d probably have gone with a Piper V8BP255 to retain the low end.
