I thought this section of Hell was pretty creepy.  The sounds were unsettling.  By now Sam is so inured to blood and guts that the Hellraisers Hell Dean saw might not have scared Sam as much as this one did.  Sam's distress and distraction by the women calling out to him for help caused me great anxiety—for a minute I

I assumed that Crowley fixed the windows and arranged the boat to look like Kevin had packed up and left on his own.  It's to Crowley's advantage that Sam and Dean don't know Crowley has him.

Do you mean magnimus- obliviophallocytis where the patient suffers from having an enormous penis, of which they are unaware of?

Maybe I'm the only one, but I'm liking the music selection less and less this season.  I generally love the music of the show—both the classic rock selections and the incidental music.  But this season they keep using this distracting incidental music that doesn't mesh with dramatic scenes.  Listen to the music they

It's hard not to notice male beauty when the show places so much effort and emphasis on it.  The make-up work so purposeful and detailed, the spotlighting on the face making Dean literally shine, the camera angle slanted to the side making you want to lean in to it.

No discussion of the Castiel Dean beat-down that parallels Swan Song's LuciferSam beating Dean over the Impala, pulling back from killing him at the last moment, and then disappearing into the cage?  My husband will tease me mercilessly for brimming up when Dean says "We're family. We need you. I need you."

Sam and Dean probably have A.V. Club accounts.

I totally freaked out when I saw the speculum; it was the first item he set on the table.  And then I saw the funnel.  I had a similar reaction as when men see a guy in a film get kicked in the nuts and they move to protect their own junk.  I don't think I'll be able to handle seeing Andrea tortured.

This was one of my favorite episodes this season.  I've hated Andrea all season until now.  She finally won me over by making the right, tough decision to leave Woodbury and help Rick's group.  And now I feel awful for her!

The big reason for staying is that the prison could supposedly withstand the massive zombie herds that destroyed the farm and would mow down both Woodbury and Rick's home town if they passed through them.  I agree that the show should do a better job of reminding us of the zombie herds—a quick line from Rick would do

In the comic, they also used their fear of the massive zombie herd (that drove them off the farm) as a reason to stay at the prison.  Most any other dwelling would be overrun, but they thought the prison could keep even the horde out.  It seems like a quick line reminding us of this reason would be clarifying.  I'm

Why kill Rick when he can gun down everyone including Rick if they show up to turn over Michonne?  And he can also cannabalize all the weapons, vehicles, and supplies they bring with them.  All of this would be theatre for his followers as well.

Agreed. Obscuring one of Rick's eyes in shadow as they sit across from one another at the table expresses this balanced conflict between Rick and the Governor visually.  And the overhead crane shots emphasize the geo-politics angle.  What did you think, though, of the other pairings finding common ground and, it

I wondered how the Governor knew about the guns, too.  It was weird that Rick didn't call him on it right when he said it or at least mention it to Hershel when they were talking at the end.  Even if it wasn't Merle and perhaps the Governor's spies, shouldn't Rick alert someone so they can be on high alert for spies

Hey, can't a virgin have unrequited desires?  She can crush on someone without actually shagging him, right?

Preface:  I love Supernatural—all of it.  The good, the bad, and the ugly.  I'll go ahead and say it—I even liked Season 7—so there.

I agree.  I wonder how the actors playing Maggie and Glen even dealt with reading the script for these confusing scenes and attempting to figure out what the hell to do with it.

I enjoyed the first two films, but this one was outrageously horrible.  I felt like the South Park boys when they saw the latest Indiana Jones movie and realized they were watching Indiana Jones being raped by Spielberg and Lucas.  After watching The Dark Knight Rises I need a grief counselor.

I was trying to figure out what was going on with Dean and Ellie.  Normally, even in a situation of danger, wouldn't Dean at least savor a hot kiss?  He pulled away so quickly and then got a weird look on his face.  Is Dean having a hard time enjoying a simple kiss because he knows anyone he connects with will die?
