I heard a few interviews and tuned out most of was said because I couldn’t believe my ears how racist their justifications were.  I heard “disrespect” and “bring back control” and “disorderly” - basically they stopped short of calling these men, “boys.”

After the expulsions, the news interviewed the GOP legislators and every statement those morons spoke sounded just like something a slave owner would have said, just shy of calling these men “boys.” I wonder if they even heard the BS that fell out of their mouths. “Disrespectful” and “control” were said quit a bit.

Me too.  It’s such a conflicting feeling because up until a few years ago, Tennessee (specifically, Nashville) is a lovely place - “it city” or not.

Our dipshit governor in TN signed a bill in 2021 that allows for adults to carry open or concealed, without a permit. Would that have changed anything in this tragic incident? Who knows, but it made it a lot easier for her I’m sure.
