In my opinion, 1983 is the magic year for “Eighties Music.” By then, all the late-to-the-game-disco-is dead records are not in the picture but musicians are still experimenting with new technologies and the global influences are starting to filter in.

I guess it’s just the light hitting his upper lip, but that photo of Brad Pitt in “People” makes it look like he’s got a set of those gag fake teeth in.

Yes, that’s what I was thinking about.  I could see someone vandalizing the train to take something like this just to have or maybe even resell.

I would assume this shutdown would also mean that the $250-300 upfront tax credits that parents just started receiving and are wildly popular in bridging a wealth gap would go away too. Not a good look!

I feel sorry for Paulina. Obviously her breakup from Sorkin has also triggered some grief of Ric Ocasek’s death. From what I glean from her dating life, she was with Ric since she was 19 and then onto Sorkin, so it’s like she’s dealing with the breakup bullshit that most of us have navigated by age 30ish.

I wish I could remember what site it was, but I have seen details of his living arrangements after his first release party. It’s simply a twin bed, pushed against a wall, in a small room. It looked very dormitory or makeshift for sure, nothing luxurious as one would expect from an artist selling $30 hotdogs.
