"Stare At This Goddamned Nightmare Bozo Movie With Your Eyes Or Whatever, Internet"

It does give an interesting read of the material, even if the film doesn't do anything else with it other than a few tweaks here and there to make it read as a decent 2010s period piece. Though gender-swaps have been becoming a staple of fan-fiction for a few years now, and since most fan-fic writers/ fan-art artists

Pretty sure this kid is pretty well liked, or at least well known in the school, otherwise he wouldn't be able to get away with doing this as a talent. The fact he has an article based on his ballsy act is just icing on the cake. I wish this kid luck in the future though.

I really feel for MNS, and I do want him to find critical success again. Also, I feel like I probably should check out The Visit sometime. Apparently it's a bit of darkly comic horror, and the trailer did peak my interest somewhat.

Related to this is Avatar: The Last Airbender and, yes, it did exist, the M. Night Shyamalan directed movie. Even though the movie flopped pretty badly, the series still is beloved and has folks discovering it everyday. Even with the existence of the sequel series in Legend of Korra, the original will always have a

Not to mention the several additional assloads of money that'll come in due to all the people who probably will end up going to see what all the outrage is about.

There are people known for how well they can do comedy. Sometimes they are also known for how well they can portray funny characters, and sometimes for how they portray characters that happen to be funny. Bill Maury, Nathan Lane, Danny DeVito, and Robin Williams are the ones that come to mind at the moment. Williams

I'd also bank on some people going to see the movie because they want to see the actors act. Even though I'd be fine if the first time I see it is on DVD, part of my curiosity of the film comes from seeing their interpretation of the material, even if the film just ends up as a re-recording of the original film.

Well, the term "devil's advocate" had to come from somewhere, yes?

Same here honestly. But there will probably be a decent handful, maybe a descent multiple handfuls, of people that'll come into the film with an expectation of it and will judge it based on that. It's hard to see things blind these days unless you're young.
I do wonder how kids would react to the original films if

So basically a passionate stubbornness that presents itself as a refusal to take in any new experience, and rejects loudly anything that isn't immediately pleasurable? I can see that.

There's a Godfather video game that apparently hasn't over taken the movie, so that's something to think about for a few minutes.

Apparently Gus Van Sant decided to make the Psycho remake to show that a completely fateful remake is impossible. I agree, but I still want to see it because it seems so surreal from what I've read about it.
Also, yes, I've heard about the Bates Motel series, and I'm confused about its existence.

Honestly, the 'let the creators do what they do' behavior is my default reaction to official works, but I still admire the blind passion that a chunk of fan-writers have for what they do. From what I've seen, fan works tend to be, and slowly becoming the first steps many young writers take for honing their craft.

I would say something about My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, but then I realized that a good chunk of the male fan base came from ironic curiosity stemming from an alarmist think-piece from Cartoon Brew.
I am not making a joke. That is how it happened.

Trailers in general are hard to make entertaining though. Like any other form of editing, there will be article upon tutorial of folks trying to figure out a golden formula to get something that will be remembered and for good reasons, among the listicles of 'Top Trailers of All Decade.' Like anything else, it's

I'm fine with waiting until the film comes to theaters to figure out how it is myself. The theory that the internet is forcing heated debates over even the smallest bit of information due to the easy of finding things in general seems to becoming less of one day by day.

I really shouldn't have doubted the allure of easy cash to movie producers. I do think that the existence of tie-in movies doesn't negate the possibility that they'll try to force lightning again ten-odd/ twenty-odd years in the future. Tim Burton got notoriety due to his Batman films before Christopher Nolan directed

Possibly one of the cartoons, video games, or webcomics that are being heralded as genius in our time perhaps. They're already being planted in the minds as amazing works in both child and adult audiences alike, and I've seen in person how devoted the fan base can get, especially for Adventure Time, Steven Universe,
