That’s why I hate the vets culture in the US. It just feeds the ridiculous jingoism and silence voices questioning the army’s role in foreign policy and industrial affairs. You wouldn’t have to have so many vets event if the US weren’t always at war.

Oh sure. I mean, all color of Americans benefit from the priviledge of being American and not caring about foreigners.

I’m glad he takes comfort in painting the wounded soldiers who died during his meaningless wars. If he could think about all the brown people who suffered and still suffer, it could be great. Like, a Rothko chapel full of brown faces.
