Well, I totally disagree with that, but I’m also a overly educated quite privileged White female.

While still advertising for makeup. Again, I agree with everything you said on a theoretical level, but the power imbalance is very clear here.

My comment was that makeup has to do with feminism, actually.

I disagree with that. In an ideal world, or if both genders wore as much makeup, it would be true. In our world, femininity is something you are prescribed to work on, and there is a pressure for wearing it. You can reappropriate/ reconcile your makeup, but it is still very gender biaised.

I understand that. But, as a feminist figure, coming up saying that to a major audience while being paid by the makeup industry, while we rarely hear something else anyway, is problematic.

I’m kind of disappointed. She might want her message across, but in the end, it’s still a makeup ad...

The political discourse proceed from the same idea for the majority of the Brexit campaign: opposition to migration, take back your sovereignty/ anti trade agreements that destroyed the industry, unilateral perspective on international relations, distrust of expertise and expert, think the Central Bank is rigged,

While I can understand how disfranchised voters from ex industrial areas can be for anti-trade/”let’s close down and go back to the good old days” ways, especially after years of servicification of the England economy and conservative policies for support services, any educated person who think it is better is

Boris Johnson has lied and insulted repeatedly anyone he could think off... Not exactly respectable, even if said with an Oxbridge accent. He is a Etonian educated version of the same populist streak.

I love Micheal Cain as an actor. I don’t think anyone should listen to him as a policymaker, and he has shown on and on that he is a misogynistic borderline xenophobe. Let’s not talk about John Cleese. Julian Fellows’ fictions on a fantasy white early 20th century of an England where everything has its place in a

I totally disagree on that. It’s nice to drape ourselves in nice and comfy moral superiority, but the leave campaign, as many populist movements in Europe, is exactly build on the same lies, overly simplistic solutions and blatant disrespect for voters. The US have just more exposure, and are better at making large

Have you seen the UKIP? Have you seen the ex-backbenchers now frontline Tories? And the same can be said for Italy (Berlusconi was no better), raise of radical right in the Netherlands...

Wait till the super inflation of 2017!

Nobody respectable defends a Hard Brexit. Sorry, that’s just stupid, or xenophobic, or plain old English delusion of grandeur.

Yes. Entitlements are about interest of the debt. If the debt snowballed, it was GW Bush+ recession, and now the interest of the debt are gigantic. It’s not Fox news line, tbh.

I did better! I had a combo May-Hammond -Trump today!” where the facts go to die”

Frankly, I find that Donald Trump has as much policy insights to offer as Fox, Davis and Johnson do...

Me too, and I quite liked it! He is a great guy, even if we had rocky patches.

Yes. It is totally the same, as Cumberbatch has obviously been married with Harvey for the last 20 years at least.

As a major Cumberbatch person, I was disgusted by how much he was praising Harvey after the crappy code movie, and still described himself as a feminist. #myfaveisproblematic
