How come that these videos and testimonies never apparead before? Were did you read/find that? It’s a genuine question, I had always seen praises of his behaviour , like an aloof good guy in an ocean of vice and damaged individuals.

Well, I am always open to try and understand... Which doesn’t mean I approve of. I’m a nice white middle class liberal, you see. ;)

I feel like there is a profound miscomprehension here. I said I understand the context, not the act itself. I don’t see that as a contradiction. Plus trying to understand =/= trying to excuse. Reread Eichmann in Jerusalem, folks.

Joanna, this post is brilliant!!!

Joanna, This post is brilliant. I hope Shep McAllister takes good note.

Why, CNN , why? Even in the #alllivesmatter perspective, you can see that it is terribly wrong... Sigh

I want to be clear: Legitimate anger at the racial inequalities does not imply right to shoot whites. It just give the background on the precise way that crazy and violent guy decided to act. I’m glad everyone is safe.

Yes, they probably are truly awful human being. I just think that this is not very informative. I come from a country in with the young muslim population is prone to jihad... I would like to understand why, to be able to say more than “ they are bad guys”. Yes, we all agree on that, but why did they come to violence

It is an interesting trend knowing it started at the beginning of the great depression... I’d like to know more about the sociological and economic reasons for pointing out this preoccupation. This clearly target an economically active and quite well off population.

Is it? If you look at the stat of the class of 2018 stat, roughly half of the body is white and aliens are also quite common. Black people are really not that numerous...

It still damn inconvenient, imo. It’s quite far and it feels like the bubble it was designed to be.

I don’t understand why people want to shoot anyone full stop and, hopefully, I will spend all my life facing people who are like me.

It’s not implausible as well, but for now on, I’m glad they arrested someone even if it is a black guy.

To be honest, I feel like Black people can be legitimately angry in the US, and specially in Chicago with the recents revelations.

I know that. But right now, with Homan square and all, frankly, U of C is not the main problem in terms of policing here so I wouldn’t have guessed that one. I guess it was to threaten a symbol of the white past...

Not for those having a day off today as everything shut down!

That’s a good one!

I agree with most of that, but I like the player’s tribune. Not everything is interesting on that, but some elements are more genuine than the others, And If they want to use tribunes rather than give the same contrived talk to journalist, why not.

To be honest, in his first interview, she explains how afraid her friend is she will be raped while being alone with him. It strikes me as a strange concer... If she interviewed a surgeon, who would be afraid that the guy would be performing unwanted surgery on her? The whole interview gave me a strange vibe. http://10

I stand with stoya. regardless, can we talk -maybe later on-, about the problematic fact that she has made scenes with him still recently ? I know she probably can’t totally decide, but this says something about this industry if she has to work with him again after that...
