They're not bitching about that because anyone who finds that image sexually appealing is a pedophile, as the character's age in-lore is the same as Simon's (14 at her first appearance). Well, I'm not entirely trying to press anything into a corner. The speculation and assumptions are a huge part of the fun leading up to releases, which is why up until gaming media took off online, game magazines could sell on previews and reviews alone.
