To this day, it bothers me when people call for censorship of anything. It really bothers me when someone says I cannot consume a medium. Year after year after year, I've seen the type of people who celebrate reading previously banned books complain about the effects of a medium they don't understand. It's like, how

No, your analogy is bad because it hinges on the presence of a social issue that is completely incomparable. It's bad because she needs to physically change her breast size to attain the glance of a bunch of guys who are detestable. He needs to change his sexuality to fit in because he needs the acceptance of

Well, in all honesty, you're absolutely incorrect.

Because a 40 minute, uninterruptable game will work so well in the mobile space. Please, tell me what corners they're cutting to casualize a DOTA-style game to something simple enough to work on a mobile device.

It is literally a mod that adds a playable children race to Skyrim.

I'mma be 100% honest with you: buying a game on steam and installing it takes less time than it does to drive to the store and get the game.

Ah, to grow up watching the companies around not~

I'm not complaining about sequels. I mostly mean mega-franchises, like Megaman and Final Fantasy.

I'm gonna be frank: I don't like how you extrapolate things. Cheerios are a cereal, a product that's meant to be consumed over and over and over again. We can't magically make apples disappear because people are tired of apples.

Actually, I want to respond with one more thing: with Nintendo's big franchises, I think the biggest problem is that we know we will be getting a sequel. That... is kinda an issue in and of itself.

If your fans aren't begging for a sequel, you're not making good games. That doesn't mean if your fans are begging for a sequel, you have to make one. Nintendo, I think, understands both sides of that more than anyone.

I just dislike the idea of franchises. Sometimes they can be really good, sometimes they can be really bad, but I largely just feel if you keep working with the same palette, eventually you'll run out of fun things to paint. You can't have a resurgence without having some down time.

Plenty of people have done enough ero fanart that it isn't really needed.

I think, more than anything, Nintendo needs to retire some of its franchises. I mean, I don't want to see the Zelda series disappear as much as the next guy, but the fact of the matter is that while Nintendo franchises are very high quality games, they are so lost in their tropes and cliches that Nintendo almost can't
