It also had a non-existent trunk pan, quarter panels laden with what must have been 100 pounds…

Put me firmly in the ‘hipster is overused and incorrect here’ column. This just seems like a nice, utilitarian restoration to a classic vehicle, with a few modern updates. It’s not like it has a rack for a penny farthing or a compartment for mustache wax.
One of the more watchable episodes so far, but in the face of all the Matt Leblanc/Chris Evans he-goes-or-I-go rumors, the emerging reality seems to me that the show would be better off without either of them. Give the show to Rory and (other) Chris and build a new following around them.
Now if they can just make a drivable version that renders in real life, they’d be onto something. You could drive a Bentley to work and head home in a Veyron!
