The twitter and the facebook comments for this very article, are already in that direction.  And ethan you may want to add that the eplilepsy warning is buried in the EULA that basically no one reads. People are pointing that out, but  I think epliepsy warnings shouldn’t be buried in EULA’s. 

It’s worth mentioning that the mechanic that can potentially induce a seizure is specifically based off a diagnostic tool meant to cause seizures. You also cannot avoid this mechanic; it’s required to complete the game.

I 100% expect this game to be a massive disappointment for all but the most ardently in denial of fanboys. The studio is competent enough that it’s not going to be “bad”, but forgettable and “mixed” are exactly where I expect this to fall. As a veteran, I find this to be accurate.

This is weird. On one hand I do find modern cancel culture to be excessive and overreactive. And on the other hand racist jokes are shitty and unnecessary. But on the third unexpected why the fuck do I have three hands hand, who the dick wrote that line and thought “huh huh...I made a funny”?

It costs me nothing to change my word usage. If it also makes some people feel less ‘othered’, I don’t see any compelling reason not to make the change. Words change, language evolves, there will never be a shortage of alternatives to use.
