This trailer as well as the Sonic movie changes have taught me that the battle cries of “respect creator intent!” and “original artistic vision!” only *really* matter when someone suggests a game have different difficulty modes, or it would be nice if women characters weren’t all strippers.

I’m astonished someone wrote this sentence and didn’t think about what it really means.

Wow and go figure, the comments are still toxic. People are never happy anymore. I can’t remember a single instance where a company did this and yet people are still being negative Nancy.

There is a third alternative, which is play the game, enjoy it, and don’t worry about unlocking every one of the ten thousand fucking cosmetics. 

Remember when people reminisced about the old days, when you actually had to play the game to unlock things, and not just buy them?

There should be a separate, equally visceral animation for people who have to step away from a match because their kid just woke up crying with a diaper full of poo.

I’m of the opinion that if you need to step away from a game because it makes you angry, then do so. Yeah, it sucks to have an opponent drop mid-game, but nobody should be stuck doing something that they don't enjoy. But then stay away from the game for good until you’re in a better place and can handle the setbacks.

Exactly, the movies are getting with the times. Would be cool if they went the AC Odyssey route with a major game like this. Give players a choice.

Game developers getting 18% more of your money is a huge benefit to the customer: The game developer can invest more in the games you love, and has less incentive to depend on trashy DLC models.
