Im just disappointing its not RTWP. Im not gonna shit on it or anything, and will likely play it and enjoy it. But ive been waiting for the next evolution of the genre since dragon-age origins that isnt one ofthese indy rpgs that try and perfectly emulate the baldurs gate games. Thought this could be it. Turns out its

I do. They just feel like different genres to me. I can manipulate the space better in RTWP, i can trap six enemies all moving toward me at once. I can manipulate the AI actively, and react to things. In turn based, the enemies feel like they always take the most optimal turn for the difficulty level. And because the

And yet, the people who actually decide the “correct” usage of the english language have decided 70% isnt enough. They still say both are correct. Remember? you dont decided what is and isnt correct. Also frankly, this dismissive tone youre using to try and end the conversation is pathetic.

But who decides when an acceptable consensus is reached to call one side wrong and one side right? Not you, and usually not people with skin in the game. The people who “make decisions” about the English language are the people operating English academia and dictionary organizations, and guess what? They said both are

but thats exactly why both pronunciations are considered correct. Because clearly its not consensus.

funny, the greek origin word for graffics IS pronounced “giraffikon” with that soft g.

if you were to look up the actual rule you would see there are different rules depending on word origin. Gi from greek and latin is usually prounounced soft g, and germanic Gi is pronounced with a hard G. Greek origin words that have a hard G like graphics are actually the exception the rule, with its pronouncing

hey, thats your prerogative. just figured you wouldnt choose to use an fallacious argument if there were better ones out there. Which there are, such as language being adaptive and changing with usage.

I think theres something to be said about the number of people saying “fuck you” to the people who disagree with them about it. This meme has become too aggressive.

thats not actually the rule. Its based off word origin and gif is not derivative of gift. I wouldnt use that argument, it wont win you any points. the sounds of consonants DO actually change if you remove or add letters on the word. It can change the stressed syllable.

If only those fans knew how dumb Goku would become as a protagonist.

As a posted in a different response, thats not actually what i intended, tho i now can see how it can be received that way. I actually have a huge respect for the kotaku writers and would never begrudge them writing any article. I was just expressing exhaustion and apathy towards the people who are getting mad about it

Most of my apathy comes from the absolute endless stream of outrage, not the individual validity of any particular complaint. Its like ive been desensitized to the industry doing shitty stuff all the time and to gamers on the internet making noise about things, actually shitty or misrepresented as so. Half the time i

Yeah im realizing its giving that off vibe now too, but its too late to edit my comment. *shrug* People are also mistaking my apathy for anger, and i really dont care enough to respond to the ones who are accusing me of that.

Sure, and im not buying the game. But I wasnt referring to just a breakdown of is wrong with it. Im referring to the fact that people are mad about it, complaining on the forums and calling it “warcraft:refunded”.

The article is mostly yes, but it literally references the warcraft forums being lit up by complaints. What baby am i throwing out? The fact that i dont care that people are mad, but am not buying the game anyway?

Im just so tired of gamer outrage, that i just dont care anymore. Even though i wanted this, and now dont. Game companys gonna screw people over. Either buy in and risk it, or dont.

I mean you say that, but that shirt is a custom made gianneti factory designer polo. Its probably at least as expensive as any suit ive ever owned.

I have been waiting on the new Inazuma Eleven for way too long, and assume its vaporware at this point. So at least someone else is making a game that will fill that particular niche.
