Please. Everyday after a game is released a playerbase drops in numbers. The only thing that brings waves of new players is large chunks of content and major quality of life changes that reinvigorate gameplay. The game was going to die unless they did something like this.

The only thing i wanted to do for battle for azeroth was play a dark iron dwarf. But it turned out i needed to beat literally the whole game in order to start a new character as one. 

Will i be able to play Allied races without having to grind 100 hours of an old expansion to unlock them? thats the important question.

I was ass deep in classic myself, and genuinely considering playing retail for those dark iron dwarves. But the same thing happened. The feeling of “Want” to play, and have a dark iron character in the game disapeared as i read up on blizzards responce. Now i cant even finish my classic sub.
