@jacqueman: You did when you called it a wire. Dictionary meanings aside, I'm sure this wonder material is still subject to fatigue and will break at significantly lower tensions once its been worked enough.

I think you should have held back Walter until the later rounds.

@vinod1978: I was OK with that. And I can put up with him being arrogant.

Great PShop contest. Kudos to the entrants. I'm almost inspired to try it out. If only I had 7 or 8 hours free to do the photoshopping.

Compared to that header advert that just took up half of my screen, I can live with this bastard child of Captcha and advertising.

@ShadowStaarr: I dont want to be your friend either :)

@brother.shrike: probably best not to elaborate. It is akin to blasphemy after all.

@zegota: The whole point of Giz is to celebrate the convenient but unnecessary.

Does it play green sleeves too? It's not a proper mobile food platform until it can blast annoyingly catching and mindlessly repetitive electronic jingles to attract the boys and girls from all across the neighbourhood.

@brother.shrike: if you are referring to that horrid practice of using way too much water and straining the excess when the rice goes soft, I say be gone Satan!

@Brian Lam: I didn't know that surfing and consumption of rice correlated. You cant possibly mean that surfers use towel warmers? I mean, surfing is about adventure without regard for comfort and comfy warm towel goodness just doesn't fit.

@citizen.lambda: No Watts is correct. Watt is a measure of Power (energy per unit time). The term you are thinking of is Watt hours (or more commonly kW.hrs)

@loosejello: naturally. Not that I expect the time it takes for one of these 'chains' to break due to fatigue to be anything like infinity. It may be more than a million cycles, it may be less. But it will happen.

@jacqueman: Metal fatigue laughs at your tensile strength: "Sooner or later I shall win Brruha ha ha ha"

@RtFusion: OK. I guess I do have a problem. *sigh* know any good therapists?

@RtFusion: Nice thought. Except this one, which looks rather too much like a penis for my taste. Sorry had to be said.

@SSgtTEX: I think if I had a garage it would be full of crap and maybe a few gems that I've otherwise been forced to get rid of. So I'm in two minds. I probably wouldnt have sold the A500; but those magazines would never have been recycled.

Astronomy or Austrology?

@frxnz: I expect the most negative views come from those that are or were unable to leave due to economics and/or not being old enough.

Firstly der its the structure of the bubbles; secondly, why question Ninkasi's gift?
