My mom’s friend has run a pig rescue here in the states for years and it’s incredibly sad what they go through at the hands of ignorant, awful owners. Pigs are incredibly sweet animals and very smart. It’s a damn shame people treat them this way.

No. Do not link! Stop creating a demand for “exotic pets” while millions of pets are being euthanized each year. Even mini/ teacup/micro pigs get larger than most dogs. It is not fair to the animal to be someone’s vanity pet. If you must get any sort of pet, fucking adopt.

In general, I believe it is bad etiquette to complain about a wedding gift, but when someone gives you a live animal, I think it is totally acceptable to give them hell over it.
