Cool story, bro.

“A big number of gears means the car has a ton of horsepower”

Any car with 5% tint on front windows and 35% on the windshield - except in the extremely rare case of legitimate medical reasons

Fuck the Slingshot and their douchebag owners. “Polaris Slingshot, for when you get promoted at the dick punching factory.” The preferred vehicle for idiots that love to string up their vehicle in Christmas lights all year round and still think neon lights on the undercarriage are cool. Have you thought to yourself,

the garage floor flaked interior needs to go.

Angry grilles on Jeeps is the new tribal tattoo. Everybody has one and in a few years they’ll regret getting it.

Ummm, this car is broken. One wheel going one way and the other pointed straight, lol. Is that a symptom of the “death wobble” I’m always hearing about?

I have a 2023 Kia Sorento and Safeco Insurance. They had no problem with my KIA on my bundled home/umbrella/auto policy and my auto rate is <$1500 a year for 2 cars and 2 drivers.

I feel like this is more than just the Kia. I think they are lying about their driving history.
Russell was quoted $7500 a year to insure

The 2024 VW ID.4 AWD will have 330 hp with the AP550 motor.  Even the RWD version will have 280 hp.  Doesn’t sound like a winner to me, except for those shopping only for “American” cars (ignoring the fact the ID.4 is made in TN for example).

Basic EV CUV still priced more than double what a comparable gas CUV costs.....

I like that the houses in car commercials aren’t even silly anymore, because you really do need to own a post-modern 7,000sqft mansion to afford a new SUV.

it’s easy to put too much blinker fluid in

Okay, even a cursory search would have shown the CGT has both ABS and traction control. It was 2005, not 1985.

Pretty sure that’s a Lambo, dude.

I was going to reply to skeffles, but they have a tendency to dismiss replies they don’t like, no matter how legit. So:

If you don’t have money to invest in new products, new technology, etc., those workers will be laid off when Ford doesn’t have relevant product to produce and sell to the market.

Goodbye Jalopnik. Although I agree with your politics, I personally don’t want to see them on an automotive site. I don’t want to be reminded constantly of the dysfunction of our country. When I browse car websites, I’m looking for a bit of escapism. Off to the Autopian.

The third owner might.

Pro-tip. Per pound, pre-shredded cheese is almost the same price as block cheese.  You don’t need to spend $120k to get a fancy cheese grater, just get the stuff in a bag.

Or just include an actual spare wheel and not donuts.
