Anytime I see one of these on the road I always try to make myself think it’s a good-looking vehicle. I appreciate it’s reasonably quick and a good car for the money, but whereas I like a lot of the stuff Genesis is doing, I just think these are ugly.

There’s a dude at work: single, no kids. Bought a brand new Expedition. No one has ever sat in the second row, much less the back. Open the rear and the vacuum tracks from the lot monkey are still visible. Dude carries a gym bag and a messenger bag. Gets his groceries delivered.

To make sure they puke:

As someone who lives in high humidity and burns easily, the best convertible for *summer* is something with a roof and good air conditioning. Convertible season is October through early December and like two days in mid May 😂

Note to MB: as long as your super-ultra-pantheistic-whatever vehicle looks exactly like a $120K S-class sedan, no one will buy it. People in the 0.001% do not buy uber-luxury sedans to look like they’re part of the 1%.

Nah, Climate Change™ is just a MYTH(OS).

Buy a $60,000 EV to save $100/month in gas.

The only flaw in your argument is that if people put off buying cars for two years, then there/was is a surplus of cars.

Controversial take: You need a different dog. I suggest this one.

Jalopnik REALLY should have some form of style book for how to talk about foreign car prices in a consistent way, especially when relating them to US cars in USD.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has announced that prices for the ID Buzz electric van will start at 54,430 euros ($57,220) in Germany for the Cargo version and 64,581 euros ($67,891) for the five-seat passenger Pro version.

$60K is the new $30K

Just a few weeks ago a 2007 example was bid up to only $34k on BaT. A similar price seems to get you a 2014 or 2015 model on the site. This is grossly overpriced for probably the worst looking MB hot wagon.

It also has a clear title and, per an edict from a Mercedes-Benz shop following a recent service, it “needs literally nothing mechanically.”

“Given the prices on BaT”. Ok, then sell it on BaT and leave us out of it.

The price is not a mistake or joke.

I feel like this is the kind of thing where you just need to find the one person who wants this car but I’m concerned that person is also the one selling it.
