@krispykrink: Nook is not locked down. You can purchase ebooks pfs from ebay. There are also many sites with free ebooks that you download the pdf versions of and put on the nook by usb.

@smirkette: I have a nook and most of the books are 9.99. Also if you go on ebay there are sellers there that sell pdf books way cheap. Those go on nooks thru the usb and I bough the nook vs the kindle because of that advantage. That was a clever play on words btw.

@retrac: Yes! Thank you! And the reason the nuke option was refused was NOT because of radiation concerns as we were told. But, because BP and the Gov want to continue tapping that source!
