It would be more efficient if this crow could travel from point A to point B in a straight line, traveling as, I don’t know, some sort of analogy to a flying creature.

Do you know how much plastic goes into a new credit card? And let me tell ya, those things don’t decompose! Sharing a card is just environmentally responsible.
Right. Because stealing a woman’s credit card to pay for admission is totally civically-minded.
Responsible Crow had been sipping an alcoholic drink out of that bottle and knew he wasn’t okay to fly, so he used the train.
I think randoming a lootbox that requires a purchased key is an abuse of the system personally ^^
My guess is, they thought it was one of those famous japanese vending machines and they just wanted a snack.
Corvidae, being amongst the most intelligent of birds, are also clearly the most civically-minded; this dude’s just hitting up that public transport to reduce his carbon footprint.
...er, wingprint.
We need a CrowFundMe for this guy.
“...an abuse of the system.” Ironic.
and they instantly fix what Valve let fester for 5+ years with cs:go.
Just because you put feminism over the bible doesn’t make church leaders wrong.
My wife hates your attitude. And that of the article. Of course you’ll say that it’s because she’s brainwashed.
I know all about leaving church because of hypocrisy. But I’m thankful for the people God put in my life to help show me the way…
Ironically, when I was a boy of seven talking about equal rights for women during a discussion on how my mother should be treated with respect while working, one woman called me out saying she would not like me fighting for her rights. I’m not white.
Jesus was never to be found in churches. He taught outside and to crowds of people. He never excluded, rejected people who came to him, even if they were of a different faith, or gay.
Piggybacking on this, sorry. From birth through early adulthood, I was groomed to be a pastor in the SBC. I preached my 1st service at youth sunday at age 12. As I grew older, and my biblical studies deepened, I started asking very uncomfortable questions. Particularly regarding, race, religion and sexuality.
Finally, someone else who left Evangelical denominations but didn’t dump the faith altogether! There are dozens of us. :P
Buried in your fascinating story is an ingenious way to pretend you’re going to take someone’s advice under consideration. I am going to use this in awkward social situations!
That the roles of men and women has often been abused for personal gains through the years, the biblical model is one of mutual love and respect. Not equality of roles (meaning that not all tasks can or should be done equally by both sexes), but certainly equality of worth. The man is not “better” than the woman…
I am so glad you left. And I know exactly what you mean about the “received with thoughts and prayers” type bullshit that meant instant dismissal of things you considered important.
I feel you, man. But real Christianity has to be as tolerant and open as Jesus was to be effective, and provide for transformation in all peoples’ lives to become better people. Casting blame or limiting people won’t do that, so those kinds of Churches just aren’t for you or me.
I grew up adjacent to all of that toxic bullshit. I’ve never seen more child abuse and infidelity anywhere compared to Evangelical Southern Baptists than what I saw in Miss. To an even greater extent, the Church of God of Prophecy, formerly HQ’ed in Cleveland, TN was even worse.
I really appreciate that you took the time to parse out the nuance and complexity evident in Faith’s character. She really is trying to be all things to all people—but I stop short of according her the level of sympathy you’re showing here, for three reasons:
First and foremost, even if she’s now clean, she’s actively…
