I usually choose to go non-lethal/good in my first playthroughs of games where I have the choice as well. NG+ runs usually makes lethal playthroughs a lot more fun to me.

I’d say a game that gives me dozens of hours of relaxation and enjoyment is well worth $60. All about dollar/hours of time played and/or enjoyed.

To be honest i feel each player has their own instance of the world and Sean Murray is just being coy on purpose. This is a grand game for a small team, so i’m guessing everything is not going to work like they ideally wanted. I can see them adding a dark souls like summoning or syncing feature down the road to pair…

It sounds like they are in the throws of somewhere in between shock and panic mode. It’s quite possible there’s just a bit of bad code (or missing code), server config., etc. that is keeping people from seeing each other. I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility that they will fix it.

I thought it sounded like the game wasnt finished, but they released it anyway, hopping the issue wouldnt be an issue right away, and they would have time to fix it.

I spent a good 5 Hours after getting it at “Midnight” (West coast 9PM)
and despite the play time, I havent even left the system I started on, and only discovered one other planet. The amount of things to discover on one planet alone is enormous. Anyone who thinks this game isnt worth it based on those early playthoughs…
